Favorite Southern Cornbread Dressing

  1. Get you 1 big pan, I usually use one of those turkey roaster pans.
  2. Spray or grease it really good.
  3. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  4. Crumble cornbread up with your hands in a BIG bowl.
  5. Mix in rice.
  6. Add green onions.
  7. Add chicken broth until it looks soupy and you can stir it with a spoon, kinda like grits.
  8. Add the salt and pepper.
  9. Taste it now to see if it's seasoned how you want it to be.
  10. if not add more salt, pepper, or green onions.
  11. Then the beaten eggs.
  12. The eggs is what makes it all stick together so they are important, don't forget em!
  13. Bake at 375 degrees for about 1 hour and 15 minute or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  14. This makes one really big pan or 2-3 little pans.
