Asian Noodles (My Sister's Recipe)

  1. Sauce:.
  2. Mix all ingredients, set aside.
  3. You'll need half-the remainder stores well in the fridge.
  4. Noodles:.
  5. In a bowl, pour boiling water over the Hokkien noodles, broccoli and shredded snow peas.
  6. Allow to stand for 3 minutes, drain.
  7. Heat a wok as high as possible, add the oil and stir fry the pork slices and garlic until fragrant (2-3 minutes at domestic temps).
  8. Add the noodles, broccoli and snow peas and toss for a few minutes.
  9. Add the chili paste and half the sauce and toss a couple more minutes, then add the beaten egg continuing to toss.
  10. Lastly add the bean shoots and chives, toss briefly and serve.
