Beef Stroganoff Recipe
- 1-2 # beef *steak is good*
- 1 medium shallot
- 4-6 Tblspn All purpose flour
- 1 1/2 Cup double strength beef broth *double strength = twice as much powder/bullion per cup*
- 1 tspn prepared mustard *powdered*
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup white wine *I used a blush*
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1-2 Tblspn Mediterranean Spiced Sea Salt *McCormicks*
- Slice the meat into thin slices.
- Put into crock pot and coat with flour.
- Add the salt, pepper and Mediterranean spiced sea salt.
- Add the shallots, beef broth and wine.
- Mix it all together thoroughly.
- Cook on low for 8 hours, or on high for 4 hours.
- Stirring every hour or so to make sure the meat cooks evenly.
