Salt Substitute
- 1 grapefruit
- 1 tablespoon ground allspice
- 12 tablespoon citric acid, crystals
- Peel the grapefruit as thinly as possible, then scrape away all the white parts.
- Dry the peel overnight near a source of heat.
- Grind the peel in a coffee grinder or spice mill, then combine it with the other ingredients.
- Put the mixture into a well sealed bottle and shake well to mix.
- Store in a dry place.
