Broccoli & Corn Chowder

  1. Melt butter in a large saucepan.
  2. Add onion and/or garlic; cook & stir about 3 minutes.
  3. Stir in water.
  4. Heat to boiling.
  5. Stir in potatoes; cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  6. Stir in broccoli, corn, salt, garlic powder & pepper.
  7. Heat to boiling; reduce heat to low.
  8. Simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender.
  9. Stir in half-and-half.
  10. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
