My Lightly Spiced Black Beans

  1. Heat vegetable broth in large pan on medium-high until it starts bubbling.
  2. Add the spices and leave for 2 minutes.
  3. Add the chopped onion and leave for 7 minutes.
  4. Turn heat down to low and add the beans.
  5. Stir gently until everything is heated through.
  6. Sprinkle cocoa on top and leave for five minutes, then stir it inches.
