Rice Hotdish
- 1 1/2 lbs beef ground
- 2 cups celery cut up
- 1 cup rice
- 1 each soup, cream of mushroom
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce, tamari
- 3 1/2 cups water hot
- 1 each soup, cream of celery
- 1 each soup, cream of chicken
- Brown ground beef.
- Add Celery & simmer.
- In the meantime, mix rice & water in a bowl & let sit.
- Once celery is tender, add the rice & water to it.
- Then add all other ingredients.
- Mix well Put in preheated 350F (180C) oven, covered.
- Stir after about 45 to 60 minutes.
- Total cook time is about 90 minutes.
- Hot dish should not be dry but also not watery.
