Hearty Beef Stew
- 2 pounds beef cut in 1 inch cubes
- 2 each carrots sliced
- 1 each onions large-sized, diced
- 3 each celery stalks sliced
- 1 can tomatoes 28oz
- 1/2 cup tapioca, quick-cooking
- 1 whole cloves, ground
- 2 each bay leaves
- 1 x salt and black pepper
- Trim all fat from meat.
- Put all ingredients in a crock-pot.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Cover and cook on Low for 12 hours.
- (High: 5 to 6 hours).
