Green Chile Chutney With Fresh Goat Cheese

  1. Combine vinegar, sugar, onion, mustard seed, salt, and cumin in saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat.
  2. Reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
  3. Stir in green chile and continue cooking for about 10 minutes longer, until thickened and jammy.
  4. Cool.
  5. Refrigerate if not using within a few hours.
  6. Arrange cheese in neat mound or log on small platter.
  7. Either pour chutney over cheese or serve in small bowl.
  8. Accompany with crackers.
