Guinness Pork Chops with Potatoes and Apples
- 4 whole Pork Chops
- 1 whole Apple, Cored And Coarsely Chopped
- 6 whole Small Potatoes, Sliced 1/4" Thick
- 3/4 cups Guinness
- 2 Tablespoons Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cups Onion, Chopped
- 4 cloves Garlic, Crushed
- Mix Guinness, brown sugar, onion and garlic and set aside.
- Brown pork chops in a skillet for 1 to 2 minutes on each side.
- Arrange potatoes and apples in the bottom of 9 square pan.
- Lay pork chops over the apples and potatoes and pour the Guinness mixture on top.
- Bake at 375 F for 35 to 45 minutes, until pork chops are cooked through and potatoes soften.
- Note: if you want your potatoes very well cooked, parboil them prior to baking them with the pork chops.
