Guinness Pork Chops with Potatoes and Apples

  1. Mix Guinness, brown sugar, onion and garlic and set aside.
  2. Brown pork chops in a skillet for 1 to 2 minutes on each side.
  3. Arrange potatoes and apples in the bottom of 9 square pan.
  4. Lay pork chops over the apples and potatoes and pour the Guinness mixture on top.
  5. Bake at 375 F for 35 to 45 minutes, until pork chops are cooked through and potatoes soften.
  6. Note: if you want your potatoes very well cooked, parboil them prior to baking them with the pork chops.
