Holiday Almond Wreaths

  1. In medium bowl with electric mixer at medium speed, beat margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Add egg product and almond extract; beat well.
  3. Stir in flour and ground almonds.
  4. Using pastry bag with 1/2 inch star tip, pipe dough into 1 1/2 inch wreaths, 2 inches apart, on ungreased baking sheets.
  5. Decorate wreaths with red and green candied cherries, if desired.
  6. Bake at 400F (200C) for 10 to 12 minutes or until light golden brown.
  7. Cool on wire racks.
