Sunshines easy butterscotch pie

  1. In a large bowl ,combine 1/2 milk ,2/3 cup sugar ,and the next 3 ingredients, stir well together , set to side .
  2. Heat the remaining 1 1/2 cup of milk, in a heavy saucepan.
  3. Over medium high heat .
  4. @180 or till tiny bubbles form around the edge (do not boil).
  5. Remove milk from heat
  6. Gradually add hot milk to sugar mixture ,stirring constantly with a wisk,....pour back from into saucepan, add the butterscotch morsel to milk mixture ,stir, cook for 5 minutes ,stirring constantly until thick and bubbly ,reduce heat on low for ,2 minutes ,constantly stirring .
  7. Now pour into pie shell and let cool 15 minutes place in refrigerator for 2 hours till pie is cold
  8. Top with whipped topping and crushed heath bar , slice and serve , and enjoy
  9. Keep in refrigerator after
