Boston Lettuce Salad With Creamy Vinaigrette Recipe

  1. Wash and dry lettuce leaves; tear into bite-size pcs.
  2. Wrap in paper towel or possibly tea towel and chill till serving time.
  3. In small bowl, whisk together vinegar, garlic, mustard, salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Gradually whisk in oil.
  5. Just before serving, whisk cream into vinaigrette.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  7. Drizzle over lettuce and toss.
  8. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
