The Intercultural Communication Sandwich
- 1/4 cups Canned White Beans, Rinsed And Drained
- 1 dash Olive Oil
- 18 teaspoons Dijon Mustard
- 3 drops Lemon Juice
- 1 dash Garlic Powder
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 pinch Pepper
- 1/2 whole Avocado (peeled, Pitted And Sliced)
- 1/4 cups Spinach, Chopped
- 2 slices Smoked Turkey Breast
- 1/4 cups Alfalfa Sprouts
- 2 slices Sandwich Bread
- 1.
- Make the white bean and Dijon spread.
- First, place the beans in a small food processor and grind them slightly.
- Next, add the olive oil, mustard, and lemon juice and blend.
- The end result shouldnt be smooth like butter but it should have a spreadable consistency.
- Add garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste.
- Set aside.
- 2.
- Slice avocado and chop spinach leaves.
- While doing this, lightly toast bread in a convection oven or toaster on the lowest setting (I enjoy using my George Forman grill press).
- Toast until you reach your desired level of brown.
- 3.
- Next comes the placement.
- Coat the bottom layer of bread with the bean spread.
- Next, put on half the spinach, layered with half the bean sprouts and avocado.
- Place slices of turkey in the center.
- Top with remaining avocado, bean sprouts, and bread.
- Enjoy!
