My Cheddar Bay Biscuits
- 1 (7 1/2 ounce) packageof bisquick complete buttermilk biscuit mix
- 12 cup water
- 1 ounce shredded cheddar cheese
- 14 cup butter
- 12 teaspoon home made garlic powder
- 14 teaspoon salt
- The day before make your garlic powder by slicing garlic into thin slices and putting in a 150 degree oven for about 4 hours or until slices are dried out.
- Grind in blender until it makes a powder.
- Preheat oven to 450.
- In a bowl combine Bisquick Mix and water.
- Mix until just blended.
- Do not over work dough.
- Add cheese.
- Drop dough onto cookie sheet.
- Bake for 8 to 11 minutes or until golden brown.
- While biscuits are in the oven make your butter.
- Melt butter.
- Add garlic powder and salt.
- When biscuits come out of oven brush with butter mixture.
- Enjoy!
