Christmas Cookies

• 1 cup shortening
• 2 cup sugar
• 3 eggs
• 1 cup sour cream
• 5 cup flour (add more to gain desired consistency)
• 1 tsp salt
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp nutmeg
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 2 stick margarine
• 2 cup shortening
• 1 tsp vanilla (clear vanilla for white frosting)
• 2 lb powered sugar (or until a little dry)
• 1/4 cup milk

1. Cookies: Preheat oven to 375F.
2. Place all ingredients in a mixer.
3. Continue to add flour until the mixer can no longer mix.
4. Roll dough on a cookie sheet and use cookie cutters to shape.
5. Bake for 8-10 minutes.
6. Frosting: Mix all ingredients; add milk to consistency.
