Elderberry syrup, immune support
- 1/2 cup dry Elderberry or 1 cup fresh
- 2 cup water
- 1 cup Honey
- 1 stick cinnamon (optional )
- 2 tbsp Freshly grated Ginger (optional)
- Add water,Elderberry, cinnamon and ginger in a pot and simmer for 45 minutes.
- When 45 minutes are up, the liquid would have reduced by half.
- Stain out the berries, ginger, cinnamon stick and let it cool.
- When it cools add the honey and place it in a jar.
- Store it in the fridge.
- It can last in the fridge for the winter season.
- One or two tablespoons is more than enough.
- Kids love it!
