AlmondCoconut Bars
- 180 grams All-purpose Flour
- 20 grams Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 30 grams Desiccated Coconut
- 3 whole Eggs
- 150 milliliters Vegetable Oil
- 50 grams Honey
- 100 grams Dark Chocolate, Roughly Chopped
- 50 grams Almonds
- 50 grams Sugar
- 10 milliliters Rum Extract Or Rum
- Sift the flour with the cocoa powder.
- Add the coconut and stir to combine.
- In another bowl, whisk the eggs with the wire whisk.
- Add the oil, honey, roughly chopped chocolate and almonds.
- Combine, and then add the rest of the ingredients.
- Pour the batter into a baking dish (mine was 23x30 cm) lined with baking paper, and bake in a preheated oven, at 180 degrees C (355 degrees F), for about 20-25 minutes (mine were done after 23 minutes).
- Make sure you test for doneness with a toothpick, and do not overbake them.
- Serve with milk or black coffee.
