Sparkling White Sangria
- 1 cup light corn syrup (I use Karo)
- 1 orange, sliced
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 lime, sliced
- 1/2 cup orange flavored liqueur
- 1 bottle (750 ml) dry white wine (this recipe calls for dry, but I don't always use a real dry white wine)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 bottle (12 ounces) club soda or seltzer, chilled
- 1 Additional fresh fruit (optional) I use white and purple grapes sometimes.
- In a large pitcher combine corn syrup, orange, lemon, and lime slices and liqueur.
- Let stand 20 - 30 minuts, stirring occasionally.
- Stir in wine and lemon juice
- Refrigerate.
- Just before serving, add soda and ice cubes.
- If desired, garnish with additional fruit.
light corn syrup, orange, lemon, lime, orange flavored liqueur, white wine, lemon juice, club soda, purple
