Grilled Goat Cheese and Nutella Sandwich
- 1/2 cups Nutella
- 4 ounces, weight Goat Cheese, At Room Temperature
- 2 Tablespoons Butter, At Room Temperature
- 8 slices Country White Bread (1/4 Inch Thick)
- In a small bowl, stir the Nutella and cheese together.
- Butter one side of each slice of bread.
- Place 4 slices on your work surface, buttered side down.
- Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the 4 slices and place the remaining 4 bread slices on top, buttered side up.
- Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
- Put the sandwiches in the skillet, cover and cook for 2 minutes or until the undersides are golden brown and the cheese has softened.
- Uncover and turn the sandwiches with the spatula.
- Cook for 2 more minutes or until the undersides are golden brown.
- Serve immediately.
- Note: unlike most grilled cheese, you do not want to press down to flatten or the filling will ooze out.
