Bircher Muesli

  1. Mix all ingredients together.
  2. Put 1/2 cup of the muesli in a bowl with 1/2 cup of cold water, milk or juice, stir, cover and leave overnight in the fridge to soak.
  3. For a quick breakfast, prepare as above, cook on high for 1-3 minutes in the microwave.
  4. Serving suggestions: stir in fresh grated raw apple or other fresh fruit just before serving.
  5. To enhance the healthful properties serve with low fat yoghurt and a spoonful of (manuka) honey.
