Midnight Sesame-Peanut Noodles
- 100 g spaghetti noodles
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon canola oil
- 12 teaspoon smooth peanut butter
- 12 teaspoon soy sauce
- 18 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 14 teaspoon toasted sesame oil (optional)
- Cook the noodles 7-8 minutes, or until tender.
- when the noodles have cooked, plunge them into a bath of ice water to cool them down and stop the cooking.
- Toast the sesame seeds in a dry saute pan until fragrant and golden brown.
- In a small bowl or cup mix the oil, peanut butter, soy sauce and cayenne pepper.
- Mix the sauce with the cooked and cooled noodles and toss in the sesame seeds.
