  1. Saute/fry onion and garlic in butter in a saucepan till tender.
  2. stir in remaining ingredients; bring to boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, 30 min; stir occasionally.
  4. Throw away bay leaf and lemon slices.
  5. Process through a food processer if you like.
  6. Use sauce for basting and as a side dish for dipping.
  7. Yield 3 c..
