Bourbon Brownies Recipe
- 1 pkg. Duncan Hines family size brownie mix
- 1 c. minced nuts
- 1/3 c. bourbon
- 2 c. powdered sugar
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 1 1/2 tbsp. almond flavoring
- 1 (12 ounce.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 tbsp. Crisco
- Mix brownies according to package directions, adding 1 c. nuts.
- Pour in jelly roll pan.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 min.
- Pour bourbon over warm brownies; chill.
- Beat well powdered sugar, butter, and extract.
- Spread on cooled brownies and chill.
- Heat Crisco and chips.
- Spread over white layer.
- Let stand 5 or possibly 10 min.
- Cut brownies before refrigerating again.
