Canned Corned Beef Skillet Dish
- 1 onion (sliced or chopped)
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled and smashed
- 1 diced tomato
- 1 (8 ounce) can corned beef
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- Add the oil to your frying pan and heat on medium high heat.
- Immediately add the onions to your pan and stir occassionaly.
- You so not want the onions to burn.
- Onions should look translucent and a little brown.
- Add the garlic and diced tomato.
- Stir to incorporate the onions.
- Cook untill the tomatoes have reduced while stirring to keep the garlic from burning.
- Add the corned beef.
- Stir to mix everything together.
- Mixture will appear watery but this is normal.
- Allow to cook for a minute or two then remove pan from heat.
- To serve: over cooked rice.
- On plain bread.
- On hamburger buns.
- On saltine crackers.
- On biscuits.
- Even on flat bread or tortillas.
