Shabbos-Choulnt
- 1 pound meat
- 1 pound soup bones meat
- 1 pound potatoes
- 1/2 cup pearl barley
- 3/4 cup red beans
- 3/4 cup lima beans
- 5 small onions
- 1/4 pound carrots
- 4 cups water (or more)
- 1 x salt
- 1 x seasonings to taste
- Put everything in a big pot, season to taste and let it cook over a low fire over night.
- It should cook 18 to 24 hours.
- The water should not boil dry, nor should a high fire be used, or it will burn.
