Strawberries with Liqueur

• 4 cups strawberries, hulled and quartered
• 3 tablespoons sugar
• 1/3 cup Framboise or Kirsch

1. In a large bowl combine strawberries, sugar and liqueur.
2. Allow to sit at room temperature for about 2 hours.
3. Chill until ready to serve.
4. Spoon into individual dishes and garnish with sweetened whipped cream if desired.
