ponche
- 2 gallon water
- 3 cinnamon sticks
- 3 oranges cut in four pieces
- 3 apples cut in four pieces
- 2 sugar cane sticks peeled and cut in large pieces
- 8 whole guavas
- 4 piloncillos (brown sugar/malasses cones)
- 1 jar tejocotes
- 1 sugar to taste
- 1 may add rum or taquila for adult version
- add water to a large pot and bring to a boil with cinnamon sticks.
- add all other ingredients and simmer for an hour, add sugar to taste.
- great for the holidays, keeps ur home flagrant and nice to have to drink on cold fall and winter days and nights.
