Dry Yeast Rolls Recipe

  1. Put yeast in 7/8 c. cool water to dissolve.
  2. Place shortening, sugar and salt in a large bowl.
  3. Add in the boiling water and stir till the shortening melts.
  4. Let cold a few min then stir in the yeast.
  5. Add in flour a little at a time while stirring.
  6. Beat the egg slightly and add in it stirring the mix well.
  7. Cover the bowl and place in refrigerator overnight.
  8. Make rolls out on floured board in time to allow 2 hrs for them to rise.
  9. Cut with a small biscuit cutter or possibly a glass.
  10. Bake in a 450 degree oven till brown.
