Dian's Easy Cobbler Recipe
- 1 lg. can crushed pineapple
- 1 can Comstock pie filling, any kind (blueberry is very good)
- 1 pkg. butter yellow cake mix
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 c. minced nuts
- Cold Whip or possibly whipped cream or possibly ice cream
- Spray 9 x 13 x 2 Pyrex baking dish with Pam.
- Heat butter.
- Put pineapple, juice and all in bottom of dish.
- Add in pie filling and stir around in pineapple.
- Sprinkle cake mix over all, then drizzle melted butter over cake mix.
- Puncture through cake mix with knife so juice can come up.
- Sprinkle with minced nuts.
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 min.
- After cobbler has been in oven, about 20 min, puncture again so juices can rise.
- Serve with Cold Whip or possibly ice cream.
