Creamed Shrimp Fettuccine
- 8 ounces, weight Fettuccine
- 1/2 cups Light Cream
- 3/4 teaspoons Cornstarch
- 1/2 cups Fish Stock Or Low Sodium Vegetable Stock
- 1/2 teaspoons Smoked Paprika
- 1/2 teaspoons Black Pepper
- 8 ounces, weight Large Shrimp, Peeled & Deveined
- 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Garnish With Fresh Chopped Parsley
- Cook fettuccine according to box instructions.
- Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over low heat, add cream and corn starch.
- Whisk together.
- Add fish stock, smoked paprika, and black pepper.
- Whisk to combine.
- Cook several minutes, until thickened slightly.
- Add shrimp.
- Increase heat to medium and cook 34 minutes, stirring.
- Add pasta and cheese, and toss together.
- Garnish with fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately.
- This is a quick and flavorful date night meal.
