Holiday Cherry Berry Gelatin
- 2 pkg. JELL-O Cherry Gelatin
- 1 gal. Boiling water
- 1 gal. whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 qt. sour cream
- 3-1/2 qt. Canned crushed pineapple in juice, well drained
- 2 cups Chopped walnuts
- Dissolve gelatin in boiling water in large bowl.
- Add cranberry sauce; stir until well blended.
- Refrigerate 20 min.
- or until gelatin mixture is cooled but not set.
- Add sour cream; stir with wire whisk until well blended.
- Add pineapple and walnuts; mix well.
- Pour evenly into three full-size hotel pans.
- (Or, into one half-size hotel pan for trial recipe.)
- Refrigerate 6 hours or until set.
- Cut gelatin mixture into 8x4-inch rectangles.
- (Or, for trial recipe, cut gelatin mixture into 4-inch squares.)
