Chocolate and Toffee Crunch Ice Cream

  1. In a large bowl, combine sugar and cocoa powder.
  2. Add whipping cream, milk, salt, and vanilla.
  3. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
  4. Pour cream mixture into freezer canister of 1 or 1 1/2 quart ice cream freezer.
  5. Freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
  6. Stir in toffee pieces.
  7. If desired, ripen ice cream about 4 hours.
