Spinach Pasta Sauce

  1. In a Dutch oven, cook and crumble sausage until browned; drain.
  2. Add mushrooms, carrot, green pepper and onion; saut&eacuet; for 5 minutes.
  3. Add tomatoes, sauce, paste, Parmesan, broth and seasonings; cover and simmer for 1 hour.
  4. Add spinach; heat through.
  5. Serve over pasta; top with mozzarella and bacon.
