Hungarian Short Ribs

  1. In a Dutch oven, heat oil over medium-high.
  2. Brown ribs on all sides.
  3. Add onions: cook until tender.
  4. Combine all remaining ingredients except noodles; pour over ribs.
  5. Reduce heat; cover and simmer until the meat is tender, about 3 hours.
  6. Thicken gravy if desired.
  7. Serve over noodles.
