Pecan Pie from Oma's Kitchen
- 1 (9 inch) pie crusts, unbaked
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 14 cup light corn syrup
- 14 cup dark corn syrup
- 14 cup melted butter or 14 cup margarine
- 1 cup pecan halves
- Heat overn to 375.
- Beat eggs slightly.
- Add sugar, corn syrups, melted utter and mix thoroughly.
- Place pean halves in unbaked pie shell and pour pie mixture over them.
- Cook 35 to 40 minutes, until center if sirm and top is browned.
- Cool before cutting.
- Note: Oma uses ready made pie shells or frozen, either will work.
- Also can change pecans for walnuts.
