Stuffed Bell Peppers(Club Member: Ben Steadman)
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1/2 lb. hot pork sausage
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
- 1 c. cooked rice
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1/2 tsp. Accent
- Tabasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper to taste
- 6 to 8 bell peppers
- Parmesan cheese
- Brown ground chuck, sausage, onion, garlic and bell pepper. Pour off grease. Add Ro-Tel tomatoes, tomato sauce, cumin, oregano, Accent, Tabasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Simmer 30 minutes. Add rice to meat mixture. Put in braised pepper cups. Top with Parmesan cheese and bake for 30 minutes at 350u0b0.
