Crockpot Steel Cut Oatmeal

  1. Place all ingredients in a 2-quart slow cooker.
  2. Dont use a larger cooker, as this wont work well.
  3. Cover and cook on Low for 6-8 hours.
  4. Serve with milk.
  5. Add cinnamon, maple syrup and/or sugar to taste.
  6. Note: you can make this on a weekend, portion out into zip lock bags and refrigerate.
  7. Reheat in the microwave for a hearty weekday breakfast.
  8. Can also be frozen.
