Pulled Pork Sandwiches
- 8 lbs pork butt
- 12 ounces beer
- 34 cup A.1. Original Sauce
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 18 ounces barbecue sauce
- 1 red onion, roughly chopped
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Old Bay Seasoning
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch
- 4 tablespoons cold water
- 1 lb Coleslaw
- 12 rolls
- Place pork butt in crock pot.
- Mix and stir next 7 ingredients in pan.
- Pour over pork butt.
- Put lid on crock pot, cook on low for 8-10 hours.
- Remove pork butt, put on cutting board, tent loosely w/aluminum foil.
- Put liquid from crock pot into pan, heat to a boil.
- Mix cornstarch & water, stir into liquid, stirring constantly, until liquid thickens.
- Remove pan from heat.
- Pull apart pork butt with 2 forks, return to crock pot.
- Add desired amount of liquid (now called BBQ sauce) to crock pot.Toss to coat.
- Lightly toast buns (if desired).
- Place heaping amount of pulled pork on buns, add BBQ sauce.
- Top with cole slaw.
