Sheree's Punch Bowl Cake
- 2 box cake mix (yellow, white, angel food, etc)
- 2 pints strawberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 packages strawberry glaze
- 20 oz can of crushed pineapple
- 1 pints cool whip
- 2 envelope of vanilla pudding
- 1 * can use cherry pie filling instead of strawberries.
- mix cake according to box instructions.
- and make 2 cakes.
- while cake is baking clean and cut up strawberries.
- put sugar on them and glaze.
- refrigerate.
- cool cake and tear cake into medium size chunks.
- place 1/2 of the pieces in bottom of punch bowl.
- place 1/2 the can of crushed pineapple on top of the cake.
- mix pudding and pour 1/2 of it on top of pineapple.
- put 1/2 of the strawberries on the next layer.
- repeat layering of cake and fruit.
- top with cool whip and use a few strawberries on the top for garnishment.
