Cherry-Cheese Cake
- 1 package cake mix, white
- 16 ounce cream cheese softened
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 pint heavy whipping cream whipped
- 42 ounce cherry pie filling
- Prepare cake mix according to pkg directions.
- Pour into two greased 13x9x2 inch baking pans.
- Bake at 350F (180C).
- for 20 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted near the center comes out clean.
- Cool.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until fluffy; fold in the whipped cream.
- Spread over each cake.
- Top with pie filling.
