Boiling Water Pastry Recipe
- 1 c. Crisco
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 c. flour (plain)
- Pour boiling water over Crisco and salt.
- Beat till all water is absorbed.
- Add in flour, 1 c. at a time, beat till a ball is formed.
- Chill or possibly freeze.
- Take out desired amount and allow it to reach room temperature.
- Roll out between two pcs of plastic wrap or possibly wax paper.
- Fit into pie pan, prick bottom and sides with fork.
- Bake at 350 degrees till desired brownness.
