The Not Your Ordinary Skunkmonkey Fruitcake

  1. preheat oven to 350F Fahrenheit
  2. beat the eggs well.
  3. then mix all the ingredients.
  4. this gonna make a lot of cakes.
  5. I love to give them away.
  6. take the pans, (use deep one like bundt pans loaf pans and so on), grease the pans with butter or non-stick spray.
  7. Then line with parchment paper.
  8. I used to use brown bags to line.
  9. Either one will work.
  10. Then fill pans up almost to top of each pan.
  11. bake until done let cool.
  12. Then put into fridge it cuts better cooled.
  13. I usually give some away or freeze till I eat
  14. in a pot boil apple juice or cider.
  15. Add dark brown sugar.
  16. add wine boil 5 minutes.
  17. add cinnamon.
  18. mix cornstarch and apple juice or cider.
  19. add to boiling glaze to thicken.
  20. When done pour over the fruit cake.
  21. it will harden a bit let it cool.
  22. wrap cake and do as you like.
  23. this makes 8 good sized cakes
