Pot Liquor Green Beans

  1. In a large stock pot add all ingredients and add enough water to barely cover green beans.
  2. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to a low simmer.
  3. Cover loosely with a lid and allow to simmer for at least 2 hours stirring occasionally.
  4. Serve as a side to any meal with bread to soak up the juices or pot liquor.
