Grilled Pork Kabobs
- 1/2 cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce
- 1/8 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 1 cup long-grain white rice, uncooked
- 1 lb. pork loin, cut into 1-inch-wide strips King Sooper's 1 lb For $1.99 thru 02/09
- 1 can (8 oz.) pineapple tidbits in juice, drained
- 1/2 cup frozen peas, thawed
- Heat grill to medium-high heat.
- Mix barbecue sauce and pepper until blended.
- Cook rice as directed on package, omitting salt and substituting 1/4 cup of the barbecue sauce mixture for 1/4 cup of the cooking water.
- Meanwhile, thread meat onto 8 skewers; place in shallow dish.
- Pour remaining barbecue sauce mixture over skewers.
- Refrigerate 10 min.
- Remove kabobs from barbecue sauce mixture; discard barbecue sauce mixture.
- Grill kabobs 8 to 10 min.
- or until meat is done, turning occasionally.
- Stir pineapple and peas into rice.
- Serve with kabobs.
