Teriyaki Pork Green Onion and Shiso Leaf Rolls
- 12 slice Thinly sliced pork ham
- 6 leaves Shiso leaves
- 1/2 stalk Leeks
- 1 Sesame oil
- 1 dash Tubed grated ginger
- 1 Pepper
- 1 Katakuriko
- 1 dash White sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Sake
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Mirin
- Mix the ingredients together.
- Stack the meat up a bit, and spread out 2 pieces overlapping one another.
- Rub just enough garlic into the meat for aroma, and lightly sprinkle with pepper.
- Leave unwrapped, and top with shiso leaves and leeks.
- Thickly cut the leeks to the same length as the meat.
- Reduce the amount of space between the meat and the vegetables as possible, wrapping it up tightly.
- Lightly coat in katakuriko, and place the ends of the rolled meat facing downwards in a frying pan coated with sesame oil to cook.
- Once the meat has cooked evenly throughout, add the pre-mixed ingredients.
- Please keep an eye on the heat in order to keep it from burning.
- Arrange on plates once the dressing has simmered into the meat, cover with the remaining sauce from the frying pan, and it is done.
- Top with white sesame if you like.
