Honey Teriyaki Burgers
- 1 slice To 2 Slices Fresh Bread
- 1- 1/2 pound Ground Beef
- 2 Tablespoons Honey Teriyaki Marinade Plus More For Garnishing (use Your Favorite Brand)
- 2 cloves Fresh Garlic, Minced
- 1 whole Egg, Beaten
- Salt And Pepper, to taste
- 6 whole Hamburger Buns
- 6 whole Grilled Pineapple Slices, Tomato Slices, Lettuce Leaves, Optional For Garnish
- Optional Condiments: Mayonnaise, Mustard, Extra Honey Teriyaki Sauce
- To make soft breadcrumbs, tear the bread into small pieces and process in a food processor or blender until fine breadcrumbs are formed.
- Using a pulse feature will yield the best results.
- In a large bowl mix together the ground beef, honey teriyaki marinade, garlic, egg, salt and pepper.
- Add the soft breadcrumbs as needed.
- Use your best judgement for how much of the breadcrumbs to add.
- If the ground beef seems too moist and sticky and falls apart easily while forming the patties, add more breadcrumbs.
- Form into 6 patties.
- Grill, broil, or fry as desired until internal temperature reaches 160 F. Over medium to medium-high heat this should take roughly 5-6 minutes per side.
- Dress burgers on buns as desired with suggested accompaniments.
- Pour a little extra honey teriyaki marinade on the hamburger for extra teriyaki flavor.
