German Bean Soup

  1. place beef and sausage in large pot, fill with just enough water to cover meat completely.
  2. cook over medium heat until fully cooked.
  3. remove meat from juice.
  4. place vegetables (onion, leek, potato, carrot) into meat juice.
  5. cook over medium heat until cooked completely.
  6. replace meat in pot with vegetables.
  7. drop in bullion cubes and dissolve completely.
  8. strain liquids out of bean cans, add beans to pot.
  9. add pepper and parsley to taste.
  10. cook over medium heat until heated through.
  11. serve.
