Chocolate Caramel Decadence Recipe

  1. Combine caramels and 1/3 c. evaporated lowfat milk; heat over low heat, stirring constantly; set aside.
  2. Combine cake mix, remaining 1/3 c. lowfat milk and butter in medium mixing bowl; spread half of mix in greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 6 min; cold 2 min.
  4. Spread caramel mix gently over cooled cake; sprinkle with chocolate chips; drop remaining batter by spoonsful over entire cake.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 min; cold, then cut into squares.
  6. Squares may not look fully cooked, but they will set when cooled.
  7. Don't overbake.
