Apple Brown Betty With Hard Sauce Recipe
- 6 slc cinnamon raisin bread
- 6 x apples - (to 8) cut 1/2" dice
- 6 x Large eggs
- 4 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 c. molasses
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
- 4 ounce butter melted
- 4 ounce powdered sugar
- 4 ounce Moonshine (or possibly Bourbon)
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cube raisin bread, and mix with apples.
- Spread proportionately in a 9- by 9-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl mix Large eggs with lowfat milk, sugar, cinnamon, molasses, and vanilla to combine well.
- Pour over the bread and apples.
- Bake for 18 to 22 min till set.
- Remove and let cold.
- Hard Sauce: Combine all ingredients and mix well.
- This recipe yields 4 servings.
